Wishti Turns 1: Our First Year Together

Today, Wishti turns 1! 🎂

It feels like only yesterday that we were excitedly watching the first wishlists appear. Back then, we had no idea what this project would become or how many people would one day trust it with their wishes. We wanted to create something simple: a place to save the things you’d love to receive, share your list with the people close to you, and help them take the guesswork out of choosing gifts.

In our first year, more than 48,000 wishlists have been created on Wishti, over 500,000 gifts have been added, and 175,000 wishes have already found their giver.

How Has Wishti Changed Over the Year?

Wishti has changed a lot during this time: we’ve added new features, made familiar ones more convenient, and many of our ideas were born from feedback from our users.

Every change has been part of one larger process — gradually creating Wishti into the kind of service we would want to use ourselves.

Our First Year Is Thousands of Stories

Today, Wishti is connected with thousands of stories, celebrations, and fulfilled wishes. Behind every wishlist is someone’s birthday, New Year, wedding, celebration, or simply a wish to share something they would truly love to receive.

And that is the best result we could have hoped for in our first year.
